The Rosary of the Seven Sorrows, originating in the 14th century, was revealed to St. Bridget of Sweden by Our Lady of Sorrows. St. Bridget devoted her life to emulating Christ's compassion. The Rosary regained popularity after Marian apparitions in Kibeho, Rwanda, during which Mary assigned Marie-Claire Mukangango a mission. Despite being killed in the Rwandan genocide, Marie-Claire's mission continues. This Rosary can be prayed anytime, dedicated to the suffering of others or ourselves, emphasizing the guidance of the Blessed Virgin and finding joy through suffering. It's often prayed on September 15th, the Feast Day of Our Lady.
